We are proud to share that we achieved our goals, which include securing contracts with Glenmont Forest Apartments and Sheridan Apartments in Maryland. These properties will soon be equipped with two dual EV charging stations this fall. We also conducted 4 months of bilingual EV education, established partnerships with 3 local dealers, and garnered 16 pledges from tenants at both properties interested in transitioning to an EV. Additionally, we collected 100 cell phone numbers from tenants who showed interest in our program.

Multi-Family Properties

We have secured 5-year contracts with two properties managed by Borger Management and Grady Management. We will be installing two dual-port charging stations in parking spots on the property exclusively for 4 electric vehicles later this fall.

Bilingual EV Education

We provided 4 months of EV education to the tenants of both properties through tabling, door knocking, and our EV showcases. We designed printed materials in both Spanish and English and developed dedicated pages on our website in both languages. Additionally, we knocked and left over 570 door hangers and distributed 500 flyers with Federal and & State EV incentive information.

Pledges + Purchasing Co-op

We collected 16 pledges from tenants at both properties interested in making the switch to EVs and established a purchasing co-op. Through this co-op, we secured partnerships with three local dealerships: Upper Marlboro Ford, CRISWELL AUTO, and Fitzgerald Hyundai Rockville.

EV Showcases

We hosted 2 EV Showcases for the tenants of each property. We collaborated with the Electric Vehicle Association of Greater Washington, DC, and invited their EV drivers to join us at each event. Additionally, DARCAR Toyota partnered with us. In total, we had
5 brands; Chevrolet Bolt EUV, Toyota bZ4X, GENESIS GV60,
Hyundai IONIQ 5, Tesla Model 3, Model X, and Model Y.
